A Candidate Fighting for You

Why am I running? For my children and grandchildren. For my community. And explicitly not for big campaign donors - I don’t have any of them. We are living in a world in crisis. Our economy is in crisis and works only for a few at the top. The greed of the fossil fuel industry has changed our climate to the breakingpoint. And the healthcare industry leaves too many of us behind and is bleeding the rest of us financially.

This is not the world I want to live in. There are practical solutions to these problems. We need to elect politicians who feel the urgency of our problems and are committed to progress.

Who am I. I have been a full-time Vermont resident for 13 years though my heart has been here since 1958 when I first came as a child, and I have had a home in Vermont since 1982 . My wife, Heather, and I live in Shrewsbury. We have four children and eight grandchildren –and more to come, we hope!

My background is in education and information technology and I am the founder of Vermont Acts, working to get money out of politics. I serve as the Rutland County Democrats Treasurer & State Committeeman. I am an active leader with the Vermont Workers Center, and a trustee at Spring Lake Ranch. I am on the leadership Committee at Rights and Democracy and Treasurer of the Vermont Political Revolution Fund.

I am proud to be part of a diverse and happy family.
